look at my teeth..

Picture

Can you see my teeth? I have two now.. but I think I will have two more teeth at the top soon..

-----------------------------

Some books on baby said that one in 2000 babies is actually born with a tooth or two. Fortunately Alisha is not one of that special baby :). I wonder what her mom will say if she got tooth since she was born. Even now, she still sometimes bites her mom during the breastfeeding. After biting her mom, then she stops drinking, and smiles!!

my twin sister...

hm.. I wonder why that face seems familiar.. is it my twin sister?..

----
Alisha always smiles or even laughs loudly whenever we put her in front of a mirror. Or when we give her a picture of herself. So, sometimes when she cries without a reason (for sure there is a reason why she cried, only we don't have the ability to read her mind yet..), I just take a mirror, let her see her face, then suddenly she starts smiling again.

This picture was taken when her mom was at the university, and Alisha got bored with all the toys I gave her. My guess was she wanted to drink milk but unfortunately I don't have the thing she wanted... she refused when I gave her formula milk in a bottle.. so, the only cure is that smiley mirror. Lucky me, she managed to amused herself until her mom came home..

It's a girl!!!

Sometimes people asked me, is it a boy or girl, when they met us. Some even went further, confidently said, how old is he?.. excuse me, did you say 'HE' ?? are you blind? don't you see her pink dress that my wife put her on?

When alisha was 1 month old, I didn't bother about people asking whether she is a boy or girl. In fact, you cannot tell by her face, especially when she dressed like this:

But, what do you expect if a baby dressed like a girl, looked like a girl such as in this picture:

What do you think? hm... what the heck.. it's hard to tell anyway if it's a boy or a girl.. especially for the blind ones..

-------------------

Before Alisha was born, many of our friends told us about their prediction about the baby, whether it would be a baby boy, or a baby girl. Usually they said, "I have this dream and such and such.. I am sure that it must be a boy...!". Others said, "hm.. your tummy is shaped like this, your baby must be a girl!". It's amazing to see how confident they were about their guessing. When the baby was born and it is actually a girl, they said, "See.. I told you so..", while the ones that gave the wrong prediction usually forgot about their casts :)

-------------------
So, what's it like to be a father of a baby girl? hm.. I cannot tell the difference at the moment. I never have a baby before!! But I guess things become more complicated when she grows up. You know, when she starts asking funny questions.... but I believe her mom will be better than me on answering those questions anyway, so I don't have to worry about that. Leave it to mom.. yes, let her take that responsibility :D

Welcome to my site

Hullo.... my name is Alisha Nabila Kistijantoro. My dad and my mum made this site so that they can record my activities from time to time. I am 7 months old at the moment, and .... yes, I don't write this blog my self. You must be younger than me if you think I can write this my self.

I was born on last summer, June 28th 2003. My dad told me I was reluctant to go out from my mom's ..umm.. stomach. Probably I enjoyed too much staying in there.. warm, lots of foods...

Finally, as I didn't want to go out by my self, the doctor must perform a caesarian operation to take me. Well, I kinda like that way, as my head won't have to go through that small hole anymore...

anyway, those of you who want to see me what I look like, here is my picture on the first day I arrived on earth ....
