do the baby walk & sobay-sobay..

On saturday two weeks ago, finally Alisha managed to walk more than two steps. She could stand up by the sofa for a long time since several months ago, but she was afraid to walk away from it. But now, she walks confidently around the room.

Yesterday, Alisha put some books on the floor, then pointed at the books and said: "books, books.. books..". I think she showed off her new ability :).. Then when we switched on the radio, she put her ear on the speaker, after that she put her ear on the table.. maybe she was checking where the sound came from?

But there is one word that she always says since two weeks ago: "sobay.. sobay..". I don't know where she caught the word from, but I do remember that she started saying that word since we came back from visiting our friends in sheffield and nottingham two weeks ago. Sometimes when she wake up in the morning, she started her speech by: "sobay, sobay.. sobay..." and then followed by a fluent speech in greek: "ablo..kcue kcue.. swe,..ji..mle..". Since we don't understand greeks, we can't understand her speech either. But I wonder what that sobay sobay means? Do you have any idea?
